Contactless Curbside Pickup in Mulgrave

Requesting Items

When requesting items using our online catalogue, please select Mulgrave Library as a pickup location. Please ensure that you have a current phone number or email address listed on your library account. Staff will need current contact information in order to arrange a pickup time once materials are ready.

If you do not have internet access, please call 902-747-2597 with title requests. Staff can place requests on items when titles are provided by the caller. Staff cannot offer Readers Advisory services at this time. Please note that phone and email are monitored Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.

Schedule a pickup time

Staff will contact you to schedule a pickup time when requested items become available.  Our available pickup windows will be divided into 30 minute appointments that take place between 9am-11am, and 1:00pm-4:00pm, Monday-Friday.

Contactless Curbside Pickup

Items will be available at 390 Murray Street, Mulgrave during your scheduled pickup window.

Items will be checked out to you and will be wrapped in paper. Your surname will be written on the paper. We recommend that you set this package aside for 24 hours before opening and wash your hands after discarding the paper.

At the beginning of your scheduled pickup window, the wrapped items will be placed at the front door facing Murray Street. They will remain there for 30 minutes. If they are not retrieved during the scheduled window, they will be taken inside and a new pickup window must be arranged by phone. Please call 902-747-2597 to reschedule or cancel. Items that are not picked up within 1 week after original scheduled pickup window will be cancelled and items will be sent along to the next requestor or to be reshelved.

Please note that the building is closed to the public at this time. Staff are not available for help in-person.


Please place returns in the box marked Curbside Materials located at the front door facing Murray Street. This box will be available Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm.

Please note that all items returned are quarantined for a minimum of 72 hours before they are processed. They will remain on your library account during that period of time. ECRL does not charge overdue fines.
